American Baptist Homes of the Midwest

American Baptist Homes of the Midwest has been providing "Care in the Christian Perspective" for people of Mid-America for 65 years.  The focus is on an independent lifestyle at our retirement communities, with nursing care available if needed.  Our nursing care facilities are staffed by sell trained professionals who build warm relationships while providing for physical needs.  Crest Services offer adults with mental disabilities the opportunity to attain their personal goals for independent living.

Central Baptist Children's Home

Central Baptist Children's Home is a child welfare agency affiliated with the ABC/USA.  founded as an orphanage in 1895, it has evolved into a multi-faceted organization serving over 5000 individuals annually in 26 community-based locations in Illinois and St. Louis, MO.  CBCH services include: Family Preservation, Child and Family Counseling, Child Development Services, Homemaker Services, Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Community based Youth Services, Foster Family Care, Kinship Care, Adoption Services, and Community Mental Health Services.

MABSSCO Group Homes

The Mid-American Baptist Social Service Corporation (MABSSCO) was formed in 1971 in response to concerns for a social ministry.  Its focus was on troubled youth.  The first program now known as Gateway Group Home, was established in 1976.  The second program called S.T.E.P. was founded in 1988.

Both Gateway and S.T.E.P. werve young male populations.  The program emphasis is to develop the skills and behaviors necessary to both survive, and have a quality life.

Northcrest, Inc.

Northcrest is a life care community that offers one and two bedroom townhomes, studio, one and two bedrrom apartments and a licensed Health Care Center.  A medical insurance program is provided to all residents as part of the health care program.  It provides for persons age 62 and older, a community of housing and a program helping with their social, recreational, and religious needs.
